SZABIST Student Council (SSC)

The SZABIST Student Council- Larkana Chapter has been formed in 2015 to promote and safeguard the interests of the students relating to academics and extracurricular activities as effectively as possible. The Student Council-Larkana Chapter has been envisaged as a body that will aim to address the concerns of students in cooperation with the Faculty and Administration of SZABIST- Larkana Campus and SZABIST, Karachi. The Council will also act to promote and ensure accountability within the societies that function for the purpose of providing recreation and extra-curricular activities for the student body.

The Council will act as a consultative body with the administration of the university in all administrative matters and policy decisions that pertain to the student body directly. Most importantly, the Council will aim to achieve the above objectives without getting involved in any political issues within or outside SZABIST- Larkana Campus.

The main objective of this society is to promote sports activities amongst the student of SZABIST Larkana. The society organizes sports activities on regular basis at the campus and outside the campus. Vision

Book Reading , Debate and Declamation – BR&DD

Description
The name of the Society will be called SZAB Debate, Declamation & Book Reading society, (DD&BR), and will be referred to as Society in the Constitution, unless otherwise stated. 

SZAB Debate, Declamation & Book Reading Society shall be an integral part of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology, Larkana; (SZABIST, Larkana) and shall always remain in association with this institution. The Society shall function within the guidelines set herein. 

Motive

• To provide a platform for students to vent their ideas through debate, declamation and public speaking.
• To promote and elevate the scope of reading among students.
• Society will be aiming at to improve reading comprehension of students.
• To arrange at least one signature event every year, in order to promote the goodwill of the institution and the society.

Entrepreneurial & Leadership – SELS

Description
The name of the Society shall be Entrepreneurial and leadership Society, (Acronym SELS), and shall be referred to as Society in the Constitution, unless otherwise stated. SZABIST Entrepreneurial and leadership Society (SELS) shall be an integral part of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology, Larkana (Acronym SZABIST, Larkana) and shall always remain in association with this institution. The Society shall function within the guidelines set. Purpose. The purpose of the SELS is to provide guidance and entrepreneurial experience to emerging entrepreneurs and help them in establishing their business ventures. Our objective is to provide real entrepreneurial experience and a social atmosphere. Through frequent studies of the market and entrepreneurial ventures, we want to point out potential niches and how they can be exploited effectively: through workshops, projects, guest speaker sessions, competitions and field studies.

Corporate Social Responsibility – CSR

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the efforts of SZABIST to improve society in some way. These efforts can range from donating to implementing environmentally-friendly policies in the workplace. CSR is important for companies, nonprofits, and employees alike. SZABIST Larkana Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is participating to the society; the CSR has actively participated in Education, Healthcare, and Environment and Community development.

EDUCATION
a) Uniform begs, shoes, stationery to poor deserving students as per priority.
b) Educational awareness seminars (out of campus at schools, colleges and university levels )

Marketing Society gives you an opportunity to gain real life insights into the different aspects of marketing, promotions, advertising, social media and a chance enhance your skills to strengthen their future endeavors.

Purpose:

• To promote SZABIST through different online-offline platforms.
• To provide a platform for students to share their ideas.

The name of the Society shall be SZAB Finance and Economics Society, (Acronym ZEF), and shall be referred to as Society in the Constitution, unless otherwise stated. SZAB Finance and Economics Society shall be an integral part of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science & Technology, Larkana (Acronym SZABIST, Larkana) and shall always remain in association with this institution. The Society shall function within the guidelines set herein.

Purpose

• To create awareness and understanding of the current financial and economic situation and the future trends of the country.
• To provide a platform for students to vent their ideas for economic revival and hence contribute to the country.
• To break the dogma that finance and economics is not boring as majority thinks by developing interest through competitions and other activities.
• To act as a means of assistance for students facing problems in finance courses.
• To connect with professionals from Accounting, Banking, Insurance, Brokerages, Investment Banking, Investment Management, and other finance industries.
• To help the finance field get the reputation it truly deserves – a good one.
• To arrange at least one signature event every year, this shall be held on university, city, provincial or national level, in order to promote the goodwill of the institution and the society.
• To make the society a role model for all other student bodies to follow.
